Hello, my name is Teleda Reed, and I am a Clinical Mental Health Counselor Intern. I am dedicated to creating a safe and supportive environment for clients to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. My passion for assisting individuals, couples, and families during moments of crisis and traumatic events drives my interest in this field.
My counseling approach combines person-centered therapy with solution-focused brief therapy. I utilize evidence-based techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and strength-based interventions, to empower clients on their healing journey. I prioritize fostering a collaborative therapeutic relationship built on trust, empathy, and respect. As your therapist, it is my role to tailor interventions to meet your unique needs, helping you develop resilience, enhance self-awareness, and cultivate strategies for personal growth. My ultimate goal is to guide you toward meaningful change and improved well-being.
About Me: Originally from South Carolina, I have resided in Charlotte, NC, for the past ten years. As the spouse of a U.S. Army Veteran and a mother of four, I value accountability and service over self, and I am committed to helping others achieve their goals. I enjoy traveling, outdoor adventures, gardening, sports, and music.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Health Care Administration with a specialty in Human Resource Management and a Master of Business Administration with a specialty in Health Care Administration. Currently, I am a Clinical Mental Health Counselor Graduate Student at Walden University, pending licensure this coming winter.
