Licensed Contract Therapist - LCSW, LMFT, LPC
Restoration Counseling Center of Charlotte is a growing practice in the Steele Creek area, seeking a fully licensed, systemic thinking, client-centered Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) who is looking for an opportunity to build a caseload and work in a relaxed, welcoming, low stress environment. Potential candidates must be willing to work afternoons and evenings. Saturdays are a plus as well but not a requirement. Applicants must carry an unrestricted, North Carolina license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT, have a minimum of two years counseling experience, and experience working with couples and/or family systems.
Please note, this position is not a salaried position and compensation is based on the number of clients seen. Individuals already credentialed with insurance companies [in North Carolina] are preferred.
We are looking for people who are highly motivated, innovative, tech savvy, team players who possess strong organizational skills, exceptional time management and the ability to work independently. Candidates will also be provided with referrals but will also be expected to market themselves to help bring in additional clients.
Therapist Job Duties
Diagnosing client mental and emotional disorders
Working and counseling individuals (adults and/or children), couples, families and/or groups
Evaluating client through conversations, interviews, and observations to determine if further assessments are warranted
Developing a treatment plan that may include counseling, medication, or other services
Setting client goals and discussing a treatment plan
Provide individual, couple, and family counseling
