Jessica Nettles, LPC

Outpatient Therapist in Baxter Village

Works with kids and adolescents, individuals 18+, and Couples

My name is Jessica Nettles, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in South Carolina, focusing on children and adolescents, and family and couples issues. My most recent experience as a mental health therapist comes from working with students K-12 and families, providing community-based services that focus on behavior modification, conflict resolution, and communication skills. My style is very eclectic in that I use psychoeducation and additional relational-cultural interventions to assist clients in creating new and meaningful experiences. My experiences working with students K-12 and families have provided me with more opportunities to further my knowledge and skills for working with diagnoses such as ADHD, Autism Spectrum, Anxiety, and Depression. I also believe in taking a feminist/relational cultural approach to therapy that adapts to the needs and differences of each client while also using more traditional approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Behavioral Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. In addition to my previous experiences, my most recent experiences have also advanced my knowledge and skills in: Couples Therapy and Internal Family Systems Therapy.

More about me:  I was born and raised in Mullins, SC, but Charlotte has been home for the past couple of months. I graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism in 2013 and obtained a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2021. As a therapist, I am also working to complete my PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision. This experience has continued to help me grow as a clinician as I continue to learn more about fine-tuning my counseling skills and educating others. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, shopping, and spending time with my family.

As someone who has also struggled with their mental health, I believe we all need someone that we can talk to and gain tools for better understanding ourselves and coping with the challenges of life. I am proud of you for taking that initial step to grow and become the person you know you can be, despite what life may throw your way.

We offer a 100% risk-free initial consultation, so the first step into therapy is the simplest. Call Restoration Counseling Center today at 704-502-9397 or email admin@restorationcounselingclt.com to book an appointment with me, and let’s get started. I look forward to working with you!
