AAMFT Approved Supervisor
Executive Director
Outpatient Therapist in South Park
Works with ages 18+, Couples, and Families
Hi, I’m Dr. Byron Coley, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, dually licensed in North and South Carolina. I specialize in helping couples and families rebuild connection, strengthen communication, and move through life’s challenges with more clarity and confidence.
I’m trained in both Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and the Gottman Method, two of the leading approaches for relationship work. I’m especially passionate about supporting couples working to rebuild trust, heal from past wounds, and create healthier patterns. I also enjoy working with parents navigating the stress and transitions that come with raising children, particularly when it comes to boundary setting, co-parenting, and maintaining a strong partnership.
I have a special interest in working with men—especially fathers—who are navigating the challenges of manhood, marriage, and fatherhood, along with the pressures that often come with those roles. I also work with high-level executives and leaders carrying the weight of big responsibilities, helping them find balance, strengthen relationships, and manage the personal and relational impact of leadership. In addition, I help individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, or feeling stuck in life or relationships.
A bit about me—I’m a proud North Carolina native, husband, and #girldad to two incredible daughters. I understand what it means to juggle family life, career, and self-care, and I bring that real-world experience into my work with clients. Outside of the office, you’ll find me traveling with my family, discovering new restaurants, or just enjoying quality time at home.
I believe therapy should feel approachable, collaborative, and tailored to your unique goals. Progress doesn’t mean perfection—it means showing up and choosing growth, one step at a time.
We offer a 100% risk-free initial consultation, so getting started is easy. Call Restoration Counseling Center at 704-502-9397 or email admin@restorationcounselingclt.com to schedule an appointment.
I’d be honored to walk alongside you in this journey.
