Hello, my name is Diana Rivera, and I am a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern at Restoration Counseling Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. My approach is warm, collaborative, and person-centered. I strive to create an atmosphere of empathy, respect, and openness where clients can explore their experiences, build resilience, and move toward growth and achievement within a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space.

I enjoy working with individuals and families of all ages and backgrounds, supporting clients as they navigate life challenges, transitions, stress, anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, substance use, and other personal struggles. I have extensive experience working with children, teens, and a passion for helping parents enhance family relationships. I have traveled extensively and experienced firsthand the challenges of adapting to new cultures, building community, and being far from family. These experiences have strengthened my cultural understanding and deepened my empathy for clients navigating their own transitions. I am fluent in Spanish and value creating a welcoming, inclusive space for individuals from all cultural backgrounds. I look forward to meeting you soon!
