Tyela Smith

Throughout my time providing counseling, I have gained extensive experience working with adults desiring to learn ways to manage anxiety, depression, severe mental health disorders, substance abuse and dependence, life changes, relationship problems, physical and emotional trauma, and employment stress. My counseling style is primarily interactive and individualized. I believe that what works for one person does not necessarily work for another, so it is my personal goal to assist adults with identifying their own unique way of coping with stress and negative emotions, improving their relationships, and implementing healthy behaviors.

A little bit about me - I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2011 with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology, then went on to obtain my Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Georgia in 2014.

I understand that therapy can be a difficult process, so it is my personal commitment to provide a non-judgmental, supportive, and empathetic approach with each of my clients while on his/her therapeutic journey. We offer a 100% risk free initial consultation, so the first step into therapy is the simplest.
