Hello! My name is Corinn Hovis and I am a current Licensed Clinical Social Work Associate in North Carolina. My greatest passion is helping those I work with to restore hope and meaning back into their lives. I utilize an integrative approach to therapy and pull from multiple therapeutic modalities, allowing me to tailor treatment depending on the individual needs of the person. I also work from a trauma-informed and culturally competent lens, which creates a safe and supportive environment for my clients.

I have most recently worked in the community mental health field where I served children and their caregivers to address and treat mental health concerns, improve communication, provide helpful parenting techniques, and strengthen overall family dynamics. My areas of specialty are mainly depression, anxiety, childhood trauma, anger/behavioral issues, familial relationships, parenting, children/adolescents, and caregivers. No matter your background, I would love to work collaboratively and provide you with the exceptional treatment you deserve.

A little bit about me! I am a recent transplant to Charlotte from New Orleans, Louisiana. I received my bachelor’s and master’s in social work from Louisiana State University (Geaux Tigers!). In my free time I love to explore Charlotte, crochet, and perform in musicals.
