Arielle Huntley, LCSWA

Hello!  My name is Arielle Huntley-Sowell and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Work Associate (LCSWA).  I work with children and adolescents, ages 5-17.  I enjoy utilizing Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and play therapy to connect and teach children about their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.  Developing into adolescence and adulthood is a crucial period for discovering who you are.  

I implement therapeutic activities and interventions to assist in areas of self-esteem, depression, anxiety, emotional development, anger management, and more.  With trauma training of prolonged exposure and trauma-focused cognitive-behavioral therapy, I work with children and adolescents who have suffered from traumatic experiences. 

I graduated in 2015 with a Master's of Social Work and a concentration in mental health.  My background is a melting pot of experience in family therapy, individual therapy, and trauma therapy.  I strive to influence a change in negative behaviors and to help develop a deeper understanding of self.  I provide a substantial amount of psychoeducation to assist children and teens in processing and understanding their thoughts, their feelings, and their actions.
